Buda and Kyle are the most recent "up and coming" Austin areas for homebuyers, especially first-time homebuyers.  This is due to its affordability and location close to Austin and San Marcos and it's outlet mall.  It is within 30 miles south of central Austin.  The big plus for this area is that new construction abounds.  However, one should be aware that the geological composition of the soil east of IH-35 can effect the integrity of the foundation.  However, it is my understanding. after talking with the onsite salespeople, that quality builders have used new technology to design slabs that will overcome this issue.  Call today for a list of neighborhoods.
